Our Reuse Shop is based at beside the Recycling Centre in Forres. Its convenient for you to drop off your unwanted reusable items while also doing your recycling and dumping of waste.
We welcome donations of most household items including furniture, crockery, cutlery, bric a brac, books, cds, dvds, clothes, small electrical items, garden items and the kitchen sink! All donated items are sorted and quality checked then diverted back into the community. If you’d like to donate a sofa or upholstered item, please check to see if it has a CE Fire safety label attached as we can’t reuse without one.
There are a few items we are unable to accept, these are large white goods, wall units, mattresses and divan bed bases. We sadly don’t have the space to accommodate these. If you have these items to dispose of please contact Moray Council for a Bulky Uplift
Bikes, Electricals & Bookshop
As part of our shop we have a Bike Workshop where donated bikes are repaired and checked to a very high standard by our fully qualified mechanics. We have childrens and adult bikes which you can buy confident in the knowledge its been thoroughly checked, repaired where necessary and is safe.
We also have a well stocked bookshop in our shed. We have a wide variety of books from children’s, factual and fiction.
Our small electrical container is where our volunteers sort and check over a wide variety of devices. We have TV’s, hair implements, lamps, clocks, small kitchen appliances, hoovers including Dysons, lawnmowers and Christmas electricals.
We do not have the skills to repair electricals, what we do is function test and safety test each item to make sure you’re getting a bargain.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS.

You have 3 months to return electrical items and 30 days to return all other items from the date of purchase to be eligible for a refund. The item must be in the same condition when purchased and you will need to produce the purchase receipt. All electrical items must also have the PAT ID. sticker in order to be approved for refund of the original amount you paid for the item.
