Delivery & Collection Policy

1.1. About this policy

This policy applies to orders placed through moraywastebusters.org and should be read with our Terms and Conditions of Sale and Returns and Refunds Policy .

2.2. Delivery areas and charges

We deliver bulky items free to the Forres, Elgin and Nairn areas. Deliveries outside these areas may be subject to delivery charges. Customers will be directed to contact the van booking team for delivery options, possible charges, and any applicable postcode or item-size restrictions before placing their order.

3.3. Processing and delivery

We aim to process orders within 5 working days. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. We will deliver without undue delay and, unless otherwise agreed, within 30 days after accepting your order.

We will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date or time window, particularly for furniture and bulky items. You must ensure that the delivery address, contact details and access information are correct.

4.4. Access and large items

For large or heavy goods, tell us before delivery about stairs, narrow doors, lifts, parking restrictions, gated access, upper floors, difficult surfaces or any other access issue. We may decline delivery where carrying the item would be unsafe or likely to cause damage.

Delivery does not include assembly, installation, or disposal of old items.

5.5. Missed or failed delivery

If a delay is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take steps to minimise the effect.

6.6. Collection orders

Collection is available from Moray Waste Busters Ltd, Waterford Recycling Centre, Waterford Road, Forres, Moray, Scotland, IV36 3TN, Monday – Saturday 10.00am to 3.30pm and Sunday 10.00 am to 2.30 pm. Bring your order confirmation details as proof of purchase.

Please collect within 14 days after we confirm that the goods are ready. If not collected, we will contact you. We may cancel and refund an uncollected order after 14 days.

7.7. Checking goods and ownership

Please inspect goods on delivery or collection and tell us promptly if there is visible damage, a missing item or an issue with the order. This does not remove your statutory rights.

Risk passes when goods are delivered to you or your nominated person, or collected by you or your nominated representative. Ownership passes when we receive full payment.
