Members attend our Annual Meeting (the next one is to be held on Wednesday 10th February 2016) and vote on various matters (similar to shareholders in a company).
Membership costs £1 per annum.
The Annual Meeting is relatively informal and normally lasts less than one hour followed by a social gathering for those who wish to remain a little while longer.
We are always on the lookout for good volunteers either to assist with the day to day functioning of the site or as a Board Member.
Do you have an hour or so to spare one or more days a week? If so why not volunteer to help us provide a better service and contribute to the success of the company.
We are very keen to recruit volunteers to assist with our sales process at weekends (presently only Saturdays but we are looking to trial Sunday opening) so if you have some time to spare and an interest in reducing waste please contact us.
If you have any particular business skills (IT, Legal, HR, fund raising, marketing etc) that could be volunteered we are also very keen to hear from you.

If you have business experience at a high level or some other suitable experience we are looking to appoint at least three more Board Members (we presently have three). This means attending Board Meetings (presently held quarterly), the AGM and reading monthly Management reports. The total time commitment is approximately 14 hours per year. We are particularly keen to recruit at least one new Board Member under 30 years old to provide a balanced age group on the Board
